As a mom to three, I can easily feel overwhelmed and stressed if I don’t regularly take the time to care for my body and mind. Even just 20 minutes using a few of these wellness favorites, whether it’s a warm mineral bath or a quick workout, is such a game changer for my mood and ability to calmly process the chaos of the day.
With that said, here are my tried and true wellness favorites!
Current Body LED Red Light Mask // I try to use this as much as I can. The studies on red light benefits include improved clarity in the skin, decreased wrinkles, improved facial tone, etc. I can definitely notice more of a glow to my skin when I’m consistent with mine!
True Botanicals Pure Radiance Face Oil // This is one of the most beautiful facial oils I’ve tried. It smells amazing, is made of super clean ingredients only, and absorbs into the skin while leaving a healthy glow.
Jenna Patinkin Uplifting Gua Sha Heart // The shape of this gua sha stone makes it unique. It scoops right up under the cheekbone, giving it the best lifting and sculpting power that I’ve been able to find in a gua sha stone.
NodPod Weighted Sleep Mask // At this point, I would hate to fall asleep without this because it’s such a comfort to me. It has lightly weighted beads in it that perfectly conform to the shape of your eye socket. Not to mention, it blocks any external light.
Tongue Scraper // This is the first thing I do every morning and it’s something I’ve consistently done since I was a teenager. I scrape my tongue, then brush my teeth and tongue, then scrape again. Not only does it remove bad breath, but it also removes bacteria that can lead to various health problems.
Water Flosser // This goes along with number five! I use it in the morning, after meals (if I can), and before bed. It isn’t going to take the place of traditional flossing, but it helps keep the gum line clear of plaque and helps to remove any bigger debris. It just makes my mouth feel so refreshed! (I should have included Cocofloss, which is my floss of choice! Use code MEGAN for 20% off if you want to try! I use both in conjunction with one another.)
HydroJug 32oz Water Bottle // Wait. Where have I been!? This is the very best water bottle I’ve tried! I love that it has a clear top, so I can see inside the bottle. Love that it has a slightly cushioned bottom so it doesn’t clang when I put it down on a surface. The handle is a wonderful touch… it comes in beautiful colors. Oh, and it’s leak proof! 10/10.
HigherDose Sauna Blanket // I questioned whether to buy this and now, a year later, my only regret is that I didn’t get one sooner. I love the feeling that my body and mind have after a good sweat—and I can get that any time with this. I might even like this more than a typical sauna because your head stays out in the open air, which is refreshing as opposed to a traditional sauna where your head is in the heat as well.
Nutrafol Hair Supplement // I take this supplement nightly and can definitely vouch that it has helped my hair grow in more fully after a period of hair loss due to stress/hormones. My hair looks less brittle too! *By the way, I probably should officially state that I’m of course not a doctor, so know that my notes on all of these are just my personal opinion and experiences!*
NAD Supplement // I’ve heard so many amazing things about NAD slowing down aging within the cells of the body, so I started taking a supplement back in the fall. One noticeable result I’ve had is that my feet no longer feel tender when I get out of bed in the mornings. (Oh the joys of an aging body!!)
MaryRuth’s Nighttime Multimineral // I take this liquid supplement at night because I’ve heard we are all chronically deficient in minerals, which are so important for the body to function properly. This one is packed full of minerals and vitamins… it also helps me fall asleep fast and sleep so soundly!!
Dead Sea Soak // Oh, how I love a nice hot bath with a giant handful of this soak mixed in. Soothes the muscles and relaxes the body, thanks to the levels of magnesium, potassium, and calcium within the makeup of this soak.
Esker Dry Brush // I dry brush before #12 and before #8! A lot of the ones out there feel too tough and scratchy to me, but this one is perfect.
OSEA Cleansing Body Polish // I particularly love using this in the bath. It’s exfoliating and cleansing, but leaves an oil on the skin. So much so that I don’t even need to use a moisturizer after.
Dr. Sigha’s Mustard Bath // This is a recommendation I got from Gucci Westman, founder of Westman Atelier. She always keeps this on hand and uses it when she feels sickness coming on. Her words… “it pulls the sickness out.” What I do know is that it’s an Ayurvedic Medicine therapy used to relieve many ailments thanks to the certified organic mustard powder and pure essential oils that are mixed in a base of sodium carbonate. These bath salts are known to purify the body, support blood flow, and assist in the elimination of acid waste & impurities.
WEGYM Mat // A yoga mat is a given… I use mine for at-home workouts weekly. I don’t actually own this one though, but I really want it!!
WEGYM Weight Set // How chic!? I have separate weights already, but have this set on my wishlist along with #16.
Kate McLeod Lavender Sleep Pebbles // All it takes is one of these little pebbles in your bath to make your bathroom smell like a spa. So relaxing and heavenly!! I love the lavender ones in the bath, but they also have eucalyptus ones that would be wonderful in the shower!
