Hi, I’m Megan.

But I think you know this. Because chances are, you headed here from my Instagram or my website, which I started around 2010. But if not, allow me to introduce myself!

My name is Megan Stokes.

I have three children, Watson, Rosie, and Patrick. As I’m writing this, they are ages 8, 6, and just turned 1! Yes, a baby! When our youngest at the time started school for a full day, we just felt like it was too quiet in our house and we couldn’t resist the desire to add one more baby to our family.

We live in Charleston, SC. In fact, my husband, Brandon, and I have always lived in South Carolina. We grew up together in a small little town called Beaufort, which is situated halfway between Charleston and Savannah, GA. An ideal southern place to grow up, the Lowcountry has fully engrained in me a love for the outdoors, for entertaining, for getting dressed with a classic and feminine style, and for beautifully appointing our home. (Or at least that’s the goal!)

I started my Substack to give you a little behind the scenes style of writing. It’s not replacing any content you’ll find on my Instagram or website. This is serving as a more unfiltered place for off the cuff, stream of consciousness style of writing.

Here you’ll find my current favorite fashion and beauty items, some random thoughts that pertain to my life, home renovation progress, and lots more! I’m sure this newsletter will evolve over time, but I’m so looking forward to connecting with you in a deeper way through this longer-form style of writing.
